The care for the environment is a fundamental part of the ALFE VINARÒS sustainable philosophy. Thus, in addition to respecting current environmental legislation, our company strives to minimize the impact on the environment based on sustainable development, which is why continuous improvement is applied to optimize resources and production processes.

As a summary of the actions with respect to the environment, we have the following:
In 2023, at ALFE VINARÒS, we launched a self-consumption project by installing photovoltaic panels on the roof of our facilities, in pursuit of sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions.
After evaluating different options, the optimization of the plant was achieved by installing a total of 168 solar panels on the roof of the warehouse, reaching a nominal capacity of 95.76 kWp. The cost of the installation was €71,050, of which €24,865.61 was granted by IVACE as aid from the European Union’s Next Generation funds.
The results have been very positive: in just over two years, we have generated more than 400,000 kWh of solar energy, which has helped us avoid the emission of over 324 tons of CO₂ into the atmosphere. This has significantly improved our carbon footprint and contributed to a cleaner future for all.
